Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Jones

Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Jones (nee Nanz) of Cherry Hill, NJ died October 19, 2018. Age 88. Loving mother of Linn "Bill" William Jones, Jr. (Phyllis); Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Carter (Bob); James Jones (Diane Couch) and Keith Jones. Devoted grandmother of Jennifer Carter, Daniel Jones, Susan Specker (Adam), Stephen Jones, Jamie Martin (Nick) and Justin Jones. Betty was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She attended Ursuline College and later moved to Ohio and then settled in Cherry Hill, NJ in 1963 where she raised her family and worked as the Director of St. Andrew's Nursery School in Cherry Hill, NJ for many years. After retiring from St. Andrew's, she was the Director of Jefferson Hospital Child Care Center in Philadelphia, PA. Betty thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Viewing Friday morning 9 to 11am in The Schetter Funeral Home, 304 W. Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the ASPCA or a local animal shelter of your choice.
